Description
After fifty years of nonintervention, the Korean Demilitarized Zone has become a unique wildlife sanctuary. Amid concerns that peace and reunification between North and South Korea may lead to rapid development of the area, the DMZ Forum was established in 1997 to campaign for the area to receive World Heritage Site status from UNESCO.
